Zé Henrique de Paula is artistic director at Teatro do Nucleo Experimental (nucleoexperimental.com.br), theatre director, set and costume designer. Masters Degree in Theatre Directing at University of Essex (UK). Graduated as an Architect at Mackenzie University, in São Paulo. Post-graduated in Performing Arts at University of São Paulo (USP) and studied Costume Design for Theatre and Film at Central Saint Martins (London). As a director, set and costume designer, he was nominated for some of the most prestigious Theatre Awards in Brazil: Shell Awards 2009 ("Trojan Women - Voices of the war"), Contigo Awards 2009 ("Lady of the drowned"), Shell Awards 2010 ("Side Man"), Shell Awards 2012 ("In the heart of the world", "Bug"and "L'Illustre Molière), APCA Awards 2013 ("Our Class") and APCA Awards 2014 ("Mirror Teeth").
