Scenographer. Associate Professor of Scenography , Set and Costume Design, National Academy of Art - Sofia, Bulgaria.

Since graduating from the National Academy of Art in 1985, Marina has designed over 120 shows for companies in Bulgaria, USA , Russia, Macedonia, most frequently for the National Theatre and TBA in Sofia.

Marina has been faculty at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and a guest lecturer in schools in Europe and USA as well as an interntional guest presenter at USITT conference in 2006 and Taipei Theatre Summit in 2011.

Marina's design work has been featured at the Prague Quadrennial of Scenography (PQ) in 1987, 1995, 1999, 2003, 2007, 2011 and at WSD Gallery Exhibit- Toronto 2005 and in Cardiff in 2013.

As Chair of OISTAT Education Commission (2004-2012) Marina organized numerous design conferences and workshops jointly with design schools from across the world. Marina was strongly involved in the organization of Scenofest 2007.

In 2011, 2012 and 2014 in association with prof. Sun Daquing she organized ISDSWE, an international students exhibit and workshop, held at the Central Academy for Drama, Beijing.

In 2013 she was elected member of the Executive Comettee of OISTAT.

Some recent productions include Rose and Cross by A.Blok, at the Theatre School of Dramatic Art, Moscow, premiere in December 2013.
