Education: PhD in Film Arts,
MA of scenography, National Academy of Arts, Sofia Professional practice:
Assistant professor of Costume design and Film design at The National Academy for Theatre and Film Arts, Sofia.
Costume designer and scenographer for theatre and films.
Since graduating from the National Academy of Art in Sofia in 1999, Mira Kalanova has designed ove 50 shows for companies, including the National Theatre, Drama Theatre Varna, Theatre 199. For her costumes and designs she has won numbers of nominations and awards.
