Designer Biography

Jessica is a Canadian designer of Chinese origin of Montreal and Quebec. Since graduating from the Ecole National Theatre of Canada in 2006, she designed over thirty productions and collaborated on the creation of a dozen others. Holding a college degree in fine arts, Jessica flew to Italy in 2003 to complete her studies in painting and sculpture in Florence. After her schooling, it is on stage that Jessica chose to give life to her passion for the arts, a decision that still anime. She began her career under the mentorship of renowned costume designers François St-Aubin and François Barbeau, then worked at the renowned Stratford Shakespeare Festival. It was at the Ecole National Theatre she meets the director Alexandre Marine with whom she collaborated to date to nine projects, one of which earned her the award for production in 2007 taxation year (Mary Stuart). Jessica is fluently bilingual and works both in the field of theater and film.
