A.A. Bakhrushin Central State Theatre Museum

Robert Shannon's design work includes a number premieres of new Canadian plays. His practice includes set, costume, lighting and projected media design. His work includes theatre, musical theatre, opera and dance. His work has been seen on stage at The Citadel Theatre, The Edmonton Opera, The Vancouver Opera, Workshop West Theatre, Vertigo Theatre, Northern Light Theatre, and Keyano Theatre. He has been Resident Designer at The Great West Summer Theatre, Running with Scissors, and Theatre Network. He teaches on the faculty of the Drama Department at the University of Alberta where he is the Co-ordinator of the MFA and BFA Theatre Design Program. Recently he has been exploring drawing and painting outside his design career. Robert is a member of the Associated Designers of Canada.
