Designer Biography

Lotte Goos - *1981 in Zwolle (NL), studied from 2000 to 2004 scenography and costume design at the Utrecht School of the Arts (NL). After she graduated she worked continuously as a costume designer with differend directors and groups in The Netherlands, Belgium and Germany. With director Eric the Vroedt she worked on seven parts of the ten-part series "Mighty Society" and the performances he directed for Toneelgroep Amsterdam as "Gerry Glen Glen Ross," "A Streetcar Named Desire" and "The Entertainer". Together with De Vroedt she also worked in Germany at Theater Dortmund and Schauspielhaus Bochum. Since 2008 she works together with director Susanne Kennedy, starting at the National Theatre in The Hague (NL) were they made "Hedda Gabler", "Emilia Galotti" and "about Animals" and many other plays. In Amsterdam they made "The Pelican", in Gent (BE) "The Bitter Tears of Perta von Kant" and in the Münchner Kammerspiele (DE) "They Shoot Horses Do not They" and "Fegefeuer in Ingoldstadt' (selected for Theater Treffen 2014 and appointed by Theater Heute most promising costume designer from Germany in 2014). She also worked with several young directors and groups as collective Wunderbaum and Trouble Man and several film productions including "Supernova"(Tamar van den Dop, selected for Berlinale 2014).
