Designer Biography

Costume designer and set designer for theatre, film and TV, teacher. 1995 graduated from Department of Scenography of the Academy of Fine Arts, Warsaw . From 2007 she teaches costume design at the Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts. Throughout her career up to date she collaborated (over 100 works) with the best Polish theatres, a.o. National Theatre in Warsaw. She had the opportunity to work with acclaimed stage directors, Polsh and French. With Jacques Lassalle of Comedie Francaise she worked on the Polish staging of the French classics (Moliere, Marivaux, Musset) and Shakespeare (April 2014 - King Lear) . She designed costumes for the most of the hits of the biggest musical theatre in Poland, R0MA in Warsaw a.o. Peter Pan, Academy of Mr Kleks, Cats, Singin' in the Rain, Dance of Vampires ( with the artistic care of Roman Polanski) and Disney's Aladin Jr., also staged in the Theatre of Musical Comedy in St Petersburg (March, 2013). She cooperates as the costume designer with the outstanding film animation artist Piotr Dumala on his feature films 'Forest'(2009) and 'Ederly' (still in production).
