Designer Biography
Born 6 July 1940 in Leningrad.
Graduated from N.N. Cherkasov Leningrad State Institute of Theater, Music and Cinematography (the course of N. P. Akimov and T.G. Bruni).
Engaged in stage and costume design for more than 400 drama, opera, and ballet performances.
Worked in Moscow theaters (E. Vakhtangov Theater, Chekhov MAT, Mossovet Theater, Theater "Satirikon" etc.), St. Petersburg (Mariinsky Theatre, BDT, Lensovet Theater, V. Komissarzhevskaya Theater, etc.) and in other cities of Russia, Japan, and USA.
Cooperated with V. Mirzoev, M. Roxovsky, A. Raykin, K. Raykin, R. Viktiuk, E. Nevezhia.
"Crystal Turandot" award winner for the best scenography of the theater season 2006-2007, "Golden Soffite" award winner.
