Designer Biography

Born in 1968 in Penza. Graduated from Savitsky Penza Art School (Theater Department, 1988).

Worked as a free-lance designer and make-up designer for 5 years, designed costumes for variety shows and contests.

From 1995, has been working at various drama theaters of the country as a Costume and Set designer (more than 25 performances). His art works include such outstanding performances as: Midsummer Night's Dream by W. Shakespeare, The Spectre of Alexander Wolf by G. Gazdanov,Woe from Wit by A. Griboedov (more than 50 costumes)- in Krasnoyarsk, Mother Play by A. Nikolai- in Astrakhan, A Month in the Country by I. Turgenev, Khanuma Tsagareli- Kancheli, Widows Comforter by A. Nikolai, Wolfgang by E. Isaeva, Vadim by M.Y. Lermontov- in Penza, The Lion in Winter by J. Goldman- Astrakhan. Infernal Comedy by E. Isaeva in Moscow and The Importance of Being Earnest by O. Wilde in Belgorod. Lives and works in Moscow since 2001.

Worked as a Designer at Chekov MAAT- the play by K. Chechil Quantity; Satirikon- Masquerade by M.Y. Lermontov and Funny Money by R. Cooney; I Mossovet Theater- musical Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, The God by Woody Allen.

Works with the following Directors: M. Ugarov, V. Ageev, K. Raykin, P. Khomsky, V. Shamirov, etc. Together with Director, D. Bertman created the performance Vampuka- The African Princess in 2005 for Galina Vishnevskaya Opera singing center. In 2009, in terms of the Chekhov Festival dedicated to A.P. Chekhov's year participated in the international project together with the Japanese choreographer Jo Kanamori- the ballet based on the stories Ward No. 6 and The Black Monk. Premiere in Japan. In 2010, in terms of the year of Russia in France he participated as a Costume designer in the arrangement of the co-performance of Galina Vishnevskaya Opera singing center and Paris Citedelamusikue of D.D. Shostakovich operas The Players and The Big Lightning. Director: Michelle Poli. Cooperated with cinema companies as Costume designer.
