Designer Biography

The winner of the State Award of Russia, the winner of K.S. Stanislavsky award (for the performance Barbarian and Heretic, 1997), the winner of Theater award "Chayka" (for the performance Balakirev the Baffoon, 2001), the winner of the National Theater Award " Golden Mask" (for the performance The Humpbacked Horse at A.P. Chekov MAAT).

Born in Moscow. In 1983, graduated from Moscow Art College in memory of riot of 1905, in 1990 from V.I. Surikov MSAI with distinction for her Graduation paper (set and costumes for the performance King Lear) awarded by the Art Academy.

One of the most famous stage designers of Russia. Worked with the following Directors: Petr Fomenko, Mark Zakharov, Konstantin Raykin, Roman Kozak, Vasily Barkhatov, Dmitry Chernyakov, Alexandr Titel.

Participated in the performances in such theaters as A.P. Chekov MAAT, "Petr Fomenko Studio," "Satirikon," "Lenkom," Evgeny Vakhtangov Theater, Mariinsky Theatre, Bolshoy Theater, Comedie-Francaise, Prague National Opera, Berlin Opera, The Royal Copenhagen Opera, etc.

Recent works: performances The Player, The Snow Maiden, Eugene Onegin (Bolshoy Theater), The Queen of Spades (Prague National Opera),Falstaff (Opera theaters in Lubeck and Ostrava), The Bat (K.S. Stanislavsky and V.I. Nemorovich-Danchenko theaters),La Traviata, Pagliacci, Cavalleria Rusticana (Novaya Opera), Wood (Comedie-Francaise), The Nose, and The Brothers Karamazov (Mariinsky Theatre).
