Montse Amenós and Isidre Prunés

Designer Biography

Montse Amenós is a set and costume designer for theatre, and television. She is also a Professor at IT in Spain. An award winning set designer, she also as part of the team Prunés- Amenós. Amenós has worked with many different directors, focused mainly in set design with new and old techniques, and the actors in their costumes become a part of it. The costumes are made with conventional techniques and materials by stitchers and dyers. She is mainly interested in contemporary classics.

Isidre Prunés is also an award winning set and costume designer for theatre and television in Spain. When working together as Prunés- Amenós, Prunés is mainly the designer of the costumes and Amenós of the set, but both design for the whole stage picture in collaboration and agreement as team for different directors and media. Prunés was strongly attracted to the Russian influence of Leon Bakst. This team adheres to the contemporary classic vision of costume.
