A.A. Bakhrushin Central State Theatre Museum

Yi-meei Wang is a Professor in the Department of Drama and Theater at the National Taiwan University in Taiwan. As a Chairman of the Department from 2009 to 2012, she also works with several professional theaters in Taiwan and China. Her artworks have been collected by Taipei Fine Art Museum, Taiwan; Life Science Art Gallery of Academia Sinica, Taiwan.

A leading Costume, fashion, textile designer and artist, Yi-meei Wang has been recipient of many awards, including the New Young Artist of 1991 in New York; a Gold Medal Award from the "25th Taipei Fine Art Exhibition"; a Gold Medal Award from "Tainan Fine Arts Exhibition" and a First Prize from Fashion Design Contest in Taipei; Second Best of Show from Textile Arts Center in Chicago, Illinois and Second Prize in "Art that Functions" from Schenectady Museum in New York. She also received a Special Award of The International Exchange Exhibition of Textile Design in Korea; New Fashion Designer Award from World Trade Center in Taipei; Prize of The 8th International Biennial Print & Drawing Exhibit from Taipei Fine Art Museum. Yimeei Wang also had Solo Exhibition in Rochester, New York and Solo Show in Taipei, Taiwan. She has been active in exhibiting artworks in "Gwangju Biennale 2002"and"Gwangju Biennale 2004" ,Korea； Extreme Costume Project "PQ 2011" ；American & International Crafts Alliance Fair in New York; WFTF98 New Energy Collection in Osaka, Japan; American Craft Council Fair in Baltimore; Artworks91 in Atlanta, Georgia; American & International Invitational Exhibition in New York.
