Venezuela with 18 years of experience in the world of costume design and production, possesses an entrepreneurial, creative and pioneering spirit, which leads him in 1994 to begin studies in "Masett Studies Center Fashion" in Caracas, where got the title Designer, specializes in Costume mention, getting the "Golden Thimble award" for his wonderful performance in the years of study of the race.

In 1996, taking the third semester of design career, gets the prize "Audience Award" in the collective parade of students "Extravaganza 1996" and takes his first major challenge in designing costumes, which mark definitive destination in the field of clothing, hand of the renowned Venezuelan dancer Zhandra Rodriguez and his Ballet New World of Caracas, where he was invited to design for assembly "Tribute to Manuel de Falla" and "Carmen Bizet" turning this opportunity to point and projection, which subsequently led him to participate in major projects in 1998 becomes part of the staff of costume designers in the chain of Venezuelan television "Venevision" assuming the responsibility of being the designer designated for entertainment programs and dramatic that allowed him to know the fascinating world of design for television.

Today, Joaquin Nandez is recognized as one of the most important costume designers in Venezuela, participating in countless productions among which, "The House of Bernarda Alba and Blood Wedding by Federico Garcia Lorca," "Quartet by Heiner Müller "," the Arrangement, The governess, The Audition, and The Sneeze by Antón Chéjov", "The Bitter Tears of Petra von Kant by Rainer Werner Fassbinder ", " An Enemy of the People by Henrik Ibsen " among others.
